100 Good Wishes Quilt Swap
This custom is from Northern China called "Bai Jia Bei" and is used to celebrate a new life in a family. The adoption community has taken to this and added to it. We gather quilt squares from family, friends, co-workers, and fellow adoptive families and then a small piece of fabric is attached to a card with a good wish, prayer, Psalm, quote, etc. on it.

Cyber Showers
Every month while we wait, we sign up to draw names and have a cyber shower. Each month we have a new theme (baby related of course). On the 30th of each month, we ship our packages of Love to our newly made friends across the country and world.

Postcard Swap
Come join our postcard swap! Everyone sends a postcard from their hometown or a nearby site to everyone on the list (of participants). Write whatever you like, wishes for our children, a blurb about yourself, decorate at will!

Birthday Club
The Birthday Club is a fun way to remember our Magpie friends on their birthdays! The group sends cards each month to the members that have registered for the swap. It is a great way to celebrate birthdays and get to know other people in the group.
