This site is for families who are adopting from China. We have either sent our dossiers to China (DTC) or have a log-in date (LID) during the month of May, 2006. Our logo is the magpie. In Chinese culture, the magpie is a symbol of happiness. It is said that the singing of a magpie foretells happiness and good fortune. It is often called ‘Happy Magpie’ by Chinese people. It could not be more appropriate that the magpie represent our desire to complete our family through the journey of adoption from China.

Our main forum for fellowship and discussion is located within the May 2006 DTC Yahoo! group.  This website is a place to meet other families and view pictures, participate in group projects, and share referral news.  Click on a link at the top or the left to browse around!  As the red thread represents our connection to children we have yet to meet, it also joins us together on our adventure.
